Day 5 – Reidsville, GA to Hazlehurst, GA

Another nice day for traveling, cool and lots of farms along the way. More rolling hills today but not bad.

Below is a photo of my host last night in Reidsville in front of the cabin I stayed in. That is Chief Magistrate Judge Eddie Anderson, county judge. I went with him to a fish fry where I got to meet some of his friends, ate some deep-fried fish and potatoes and other southern dishes.

I met Capt Hutto at the local Huddle House restaurant. He offered the use of a camper at the fire station. This is the camper besides the fire station building where I will stay tonight. (I had already been offered hotel accomodations by a local businessman, Derek Johnson, good for tonight and if I found an other offer then good for any other stop where I may need to stay at a hotel.)

I continue to meet great people every day.
