Day 27 – Walker, LA to Baton Rouge, LA

Much better weather today and a shorter ride. Started with a good breakfast at the station then Rick Portier, photojournalist with WAFB TV CBS Channel 9, did a lenghty interview including my packing up the gear that dried out overnight. He then shot me on the road all the way to the Baton Rouge Fire Station, 20 miles and an hour and a half away.

After settling down in the Baton Rouge station, John Wise from Fitness Expo, a new outlet for ElliptiGO managed by Mike Mannen, picked me up and took me to the store for another TV interview. This time with Matt Boudreaux with NBC 33/Fox44 inside and outside the store about my trip and the benifits of the ElliptiGO.

Later I enjoyed a great seafood dinner with the crew after watching myself on the 6 pm news on Channel 9.

Donations to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund are over the $4000 mark. Many thanks to all the donors, keep it coming!!!

Here are a couple of pictures each of the Walker and Baton Rouge Fire Station crews.
